- This paper presents a methodology for analysing network data in big data environments (obtained through social media platforms). It uniquely allowed crucial actors to be identified in real time from dynamic communication networks (example at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfyd5ZtdXVI). It was a key output from the PhD student Tinati which led to a postdoc position on EPSRC SOCIAM EP/J017728/2 and Global AI/ML Specialist for Amazon Web Services. It also led to the development of a tool (TweetFlow) licensed by Edelman ("the world's largest public relations firm") and which their CEO demonstrated in an interview on Fox Business News [ http://video.foxbusiness.com/v/4332240859001/immigration-comments-hurting-donald-trumps-brand/?playlist_id=937116503001#sp=show-clips ].
