- This paper proposed DICA, a distributed collision-free data-aggregation scheduling algorithm in WSN, which is the first that factors in practical issues and reports validation results through a test-bed experiment. This work is related to international collaboration with UMBC and an NSF project. The correctness of DICA is formally proven, upper bounds are derived, and its performance compared to existing solutions. It is implemented using a real sensor platform and a novel hardware-in-the-loop framework.
