- The 90 000 word monograph is co-authored by Higbee with two other researchers (Martin and Bahmad) and is the central output from a three-year AHRC-funded research project. Extensive primary research was carried out for the monograph in archives in France and Morocco, as well as field tips to Morocco and Europe, resulting in over 30 interviews with key stakeholders from the Moroccan film industry. Higbee was the PI of the research project and has contributed the largest and most significant sections for each part of the monograph, as well as the introduction and conclusion (approx. 55 000 words in total)
