- The paper presents a combination of key academic literature and current technological challenges and opportunities in collaboration with several industry partners in the UK including ARU collaborator, Propelair, in Horizon 2020 project, Grant number 778742 and Innovate UK application TSB reference: TS/R002436/1. It forms the basis for future integrated design technologies for water and energy saving in the bathrooms and highlights the technological barriers such as size, user experience, maintenance, and return on investment to create a reasonable environmental impact.
