- Our novel dynamic appearance descriptor outperforms state-of-the-art approaches in dynamic analysis of facial expressions and is now used by many researchers in the community. It led to invited keynotes at IEEE Int. Conference on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction 2015, IEEE Int. Conference on Multimedia and Expo 2015. The method underpinned an EPSRC Program Grant (FACER2VM, EP/N007743/1, £6.1M) for research on face verification from facial temporal dynamics.
