- This monograph is a longer-form output produced over an 8-year period. The book analyses and draws comparisons between complex theoretical and multimedia source material (encompassing poetry, philosophy and other literary work; as well as visual and performance work including photography and artist film) in order to intervene in contemporary critical debates in queer, transgender and feminist theories. By investigating the topic of queer theory's relation to France in considerable depth, it allows for a comparison between various (Francophone/Anglophone) theoretical, political and cultural contexts.
