- An outcome of a collaborative research project with the University of Northumbria and Sejong University, South Korea, supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF), investigating the influence of boundary conditions on the natural frequencies of FG Sandwich beams. The results of this work (expected behaviour of FG Sandwich beams in frequency sensitive applications) have already attracted attention from researchers in multi- and inter-disciplinary research areas (e.g. China Medical University – H. Nguyyen-Xuan; the University of Luxembourg – SPA Boardas; NTU Singapore - H. Liu & Z. Lv).
