- <20> This work was funded by Ulster’s competitive Vice-Chancellor Research Scholarship (10/2014-09/2017). It was an extension of the first author’s previous work on facial expression analysis (doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-48746-5_35) which received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing and Ambient Intelligence in 2016. The work has led to the first author, a PhD student then, successfully completing her PhD viva in 2019, and securing the position of Assistant Professor at Bethlehem University
