- As a monograph of almost 400 pages, Legal Monism: Law, Philosophy, and Politics represents a longer-form output and demonstrates a sustained research effort over three years of work, partly also using primary sources in German which are not available in English (yet). It furthermore generated an extended and complex piece of research by uniting both legal-philosophical and doctrinal research, thus yielding results in a considerable depth, examining them from different methodological perspectives, and putting them into different contexts (legal philosophy, international and EU law, and international relations theory).
