- This 246p journal special issue is based on an AHRC Research Network project led by Dr Lewis, which included collaborative archival research and two workshops. This intensive collaboration by 7 scholars was essential to the creation of an integrated special issue that explored decolonization networks from multiple perspectives. The co-I and Dr Lewis collaborated in equal measure in writing the introduction 50/50, and shared equally the work of editing the volume, providing feedback, and arranging collaborative online writing sessions. Lewis’s own article drew on research in the Netherlands, US, UK, Myanmar, and Indonesia.
