- Additional information
- This paper is the first which proposes the use of a further dimension in the DASH video streaming "encoding ladder" when dealing with light field video. This work is significant since it can open the way to video streaming of light field visual content. Indeed, one of the authors, i.e., M. Martini, has been nomination as chair of the IEEE standardization working group on the quality assessment for light field imaging (P3333.1.4).
