- Published in the ERA2010 A* ranked Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing, this work presents a novel method for small-large outer joins, in cloud computing settings, providing an alternative to the current state-of-the-art approach. This work is a result of collaboration with partners from both academia (Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands) and industry (IBM Research, Ireland), and led to the acquisition of a H2020 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship “Network-aware Optimization for Query Executions in Large Systems” (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/799066) awarded to co-author ‘Long Cheng’.
