- The competitive coevolutionary component in this paper has inspired the design of a cooperative coevolutionary algorithm for vehicle routing by Prof Frederico Gadelha Guimarães in Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil. This paper has inspired the design of a novel QoS multicast routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks by Dr Sachin Tripathi in Indian School of Mines, India. The research work has also motivated the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) grant entitled Novel Network Routing, Protection, and Grooming Techniques (Grant no. 61225012, 01/2013-12/2016, RMB2,000,000, PI: Prof Xingwei Wang in Northeastern University, China).
