- This monograph is a long-form output comprising six chapters (302 pages). It was the first scholarly book to integrate the latest translation studies research with game localisation professional workflows. The research was particularly challenging to carry out since this industry had not been mapped before. A sustained research effort of seven years was required to liaise with stakeholders via the creation, curation and hosting of 22 international events in Europe and North America within the game and language services industries, which were integral to the research process, and the construction and articulation of the original research findings.
