- The paper represents a systematic research integrating big data platform, real-time event correction and machine learning for cyber-attack detection. The work fundamentally bridges big data and cyber security and consolidates a comprehensive framework of cyber security analytics. Two parts of related work of the paper had received the Best Paper Awards at IEEE International Conference on Cyber Security and Cloud Computing, New York, November 2015 and IEEE International Conference on Intelligence and Security Informatics, July 2017, Beijing. The paper was also an invited show case presentation at IEEE International Conference on Big Data, Boston, December 2017.
