- Double-weighted statement
- This book of over 100 pages required significant research effort, investigating the problem of subnational disparities in the UK from several perspectives. In so doing, it adapted an established research methodology to a novel set of data, noting the wide applicability of findings as well as offering policy recommendations. Several alternative sourceas of data were used to illustrate the fundamental issues. As such, it represents an in-depth investigation of the theme of regional disparities, synthesising earlier research and particularly extending it with regard to measurement issues. It covers several distinct themes and is around double the length of an article.
