- English abstract
- Through a creative-critical treatment of some of Wales's most well-known historical figures, such as Richard Price, Robert Owen, Lady Llanover and J.R. Jones, this book provides an analysis of a number of ideas and doctrines which have proven influential in Welsh thought to explore the philosophical inflection of Welsh intellectual tradition. Political, moral and theological discussions are presented through the form of imaginary dialogues and accompanied by secondary philosophical analysis. Particular emphasis is placed on the links with broader European intellectual trends and the way in which Welsh intellectual history has influenced, and been influenced by, the wider context.
