- The study was based on Malamateniou’s PhD work and her work on tortuosity of cerebral brain vessels of preterm infants. Malamateniou made a substantial contribution to the conception and design of the study, to the acquisition of MRI data and optimisation of technique. Malamateniou also contributed to writing and subsequently reviewing and critiquing the output for important intellectual content.
