- This is a research monograph of 178 pages. The book is the result of a seven-year period of fieldwork and detailed study of artists' films in art gallery contexts, including approximately 30 examples visited in-person in exhibitions in a variety of UK and international locations, to pursue investigation into relationships between the films and place of exhibition. The study draws on a range of methodologies from Film Studies and from the study of art and visual culture.
