- Double-weighted statement
- The ethnographic data for this monograph was collected over the course of fifteen years (2000-2015) through short- and long-term fieldwork periods (July 2000-June 2001, Feb-March 2003, Feb-March 2006, Dec 2008-July 2009, August-Sept 2010, July-Oct 2015, June-July 2015, Feb 2017) at multiple research sites, resulting in a large body of data. The analysis of that data also presented particular complexities in relation to the different contexts that were investigated, i.e. based on the life experience of three different ethnic and religious minority communities living in cities and villages of Southeast Turkey as well diasporic communities in Germany and Sweden.
