- Double-weighted statement
- This study provides the most comprehensive study of the Certamen Homeri et Hesiodi to date, analysing its contents and manuscript tradition, and tracking its history and sources. It identifies a new manuscript witness of the text and provides the first edition of it. The book also provides the first line-by-line commentary on the Certamen.
It is an extended piece of research about 90,000 word long. The critical edition involved personal inspection of manuscripts and papyri held in Florence and London as well as work on digitised images of manuscripts held in libraries in Europe (Vienna, Freiburg, Athens) and US (Michigan).
