- The main theme of this research work is to grow green in 4G LTE networks. In this context a concentrated early handover scheme is developed and implemented. Performance analysis has shown promising energy conservation results with reduced carbon foot print thereby directly impacting the operational expenditures (OPEX) of mobile vendors. The scheme has potential to gain commercial benefits as well as having significant environmental benefits because of reduced CO2 foot print.
