- Regan was a named co-spokesperson (one of four, with Watanabe, Sodestrom & Walker) for the specific experiment performed at the RIKEN RIBF facility in Japan. Regan was present during the experimental beam-time at RIKEN in November 2014. He prepared much of the experimental propsal and experimental conceptual design. He worked on data taking shifts during the course of the experimental beam-time and also on the analysis techniques used for extracting nuclear decay lifetimes from the ion-decay correlations. He played a significant role in the drafting of the initial and final manuscripts for ultimate publication.
