- This paper presents a novel and unique solution that is addressing specific challenges of computer science education reform in Wales. It presents the strategic aims and activities of the Technocamps project, a national university-based schools outreach programme founded in 2003, reporting its wide impact on computer science education, schools, pupils and teachers in Wales. As a real-world national case study, addressing the unique socio-economic, cultural and geographical challenges in Wales, it outlines a tractable university-based school-&-learner-focused model portable and replicable in other regions and jurisdictions nationally and internationally. The work underpins an Impact Case Study by Swansea Computer Science.
