- This book represents five years of work bringing together the studies of resilience in several countries, extending the focus of country-specific articles. It was partly supported by a German Ministry of Education fellowship. It is the first book-length attempt to compare resilience-building in different countries. It is based on detailed documentary analysis of different policy statements and national strategies, some in French and German.
