- This was the first paper to describe the 3DEP cytometer. Prior to this paper, measuring cells via DEP took typically 60-90 minutes, where this achieved the same in 30 seconds. A commercial version of the technology has been produced (www.deptech.com) and sold to academic, industrial and clinical researchers is seven countries; 3DEP-derived data have been published by several groups (e.g. the Flanagan Group at University of California Irvine, the Swami group at University of Virginia, the Williams group at University of Kentucky Louisville, and the Gagnon group at Johns Hopkins).
