- This paper presents a new development in combining two numerical models. The numerical results validated by experimental data. The methods will allow more accurately and efficiency modelling of breaking waves and their interaction with structures, underpinning hydrodynamics of many marine structures. The novel coupling method proposed here will be transferable to other models. The work of this paper underpinned the success of new EPSRC grants and collaboration with India.
