- Double-weighted statement
- This is the first ever edition of Ann Yearsley’s works, and includes newly discovered poems and letters. The edition also includes the first republication of Yearsley’s only play and novel since the eighteenth century. The edition includes full introductions to each volume, scholarly annotations and detailed headnotes: it is therefore highly original. Yearsley is an important figure in the literary history of Bristol and London and, through her associations with Hannah More and other national figures, of significance to wider literary studies. As the first ever scholarly edition of her works, these volumes have considerable significance to scholarship
