- This paper impacts the state of the art finding potential 10% loss reductions through reduced transmission and distribution network usage by using local optimised power flow. It led to a successful EU H2020 MSCA Individual Fellowship application (scored 97/100, Grant agreement No. 898194, hosted at Loughborough University) to further develop this technology in microgrid applications. This includes future knowledge transfer activities between Delft University of Technology, University of Malaga and Strathclyde University.
