- This monograph consolidates its author's sustained research efforts since the beginning of the REF period (when this project was launched) and builds on the author's longstanding interest on copyright defences, which started with her doctoral studies (2005). The work is an extended study of 448 pages and offers detailed analysis of defensive rules available under EU copyright, reflecting not just on EU legislation and case-law of the EU Court of Justice, but also on an extensive set of primary sources from EU Member States, such as national laws and cases, many of which are not available in English.
