- 320-page book published by the British Association of Adoption and Fostering. This research, the first of its type in the UK and US, filled an important gap in information about the national level success rate of adoptions. This innovative, original and impactful study used complex methods to follow up all adoptions in England over a 12-year period using large, national administrative datasets matched with survey data. Study was ethically complex and sensitively undertaken. The advanced quantitative analysis is rigorous. This is a ground-breaking study both professionally and academically.
