- This paper has significant impact on secure communication systems for emergency and large scale Internet of Things (IoT) systems involving satellites. The proposed scheme enhances both security and reliability. An analytical methodology is validated by simulation to confirm performance enhancements. This was one of very few papers selected for the special issue of IEEE JSAC Journal in 2018 on new technologies in satellite communications. This work was instrumental in the success of the EPSRC grant for the PETRAS National Centre of Excellence for IoT Systems Cybersecurity.
