- This is significant work in terms of capitalising on the science of nanotechnology to enhance corrosion resistance of ferrous materials. The originality lies in the choice of the materials of zinc oxide with Graphene oxide and Styrene Acrylonitrile with Polyaniline and Few Layers Graphne. The selection of seawater and produced crude oil water emulates a highly corrosive medium within the context of industrial applications. This study will enable industry to increase service life by reducing corrosion. This will, in turn, lead to significant impacts on the reliability and durability of the parts and cost savings.
