- This work integrates the concept of Situational Awareness (SA) with Ant Colony Optimisation (ACO) techniques to solve the multi constrained path selection problem, which is an NP hard. While the work is dedicated specifically for vehicular networks, the proposed SA model has prompted more research in the area of efficient and QoS-aware messages delivery in connected cars as evidenced by the citations since 2015. Moreover, the research influenced the agenda of the International Conference on Cyber Situational Awareness, Data Analytics and Assessment (CyberSA 2017) in London via a keynote speech and discussions with leading researchers in academic and industry.
