- The paper develops a novel resource-bounded coalition logic which is the first demonstration of the effectiveness of the model-checking problem of resource-bounded coalition formation. A preliminary version of the paper appeared at the AAMAS'10 conference, the largest and most influential conference in the area of agents and multi-agent systems, with an acceptance rate of 23%. This journal version gives full proofs for all results. The work was funded by an EPSRC grant. The resulting research lead to ideas for further research, international collaboration, and a successful EPSRC bid EP/K033905/1.
