- "This research was the focus of a long-form article by the French Libération [1]. It impacted special education teachers and accessibility specialists through professional organisations for special education and museum accessibility (e.g. INSHEA, GPEAA [2], Acces Culture [3]). Furthermore, it drew research attention, e.g. Dr Metatla (Bristol) obtained an EPSRC grant to develop technologies for visually impaired children based on the design principles presented [4]. The product developed during this research project is in advanced testing phase (see Accessimap project [5]), before production and launch. Field-weighted citation 4.60 (Scopus).
