- This monograph provides a forensic analysis of archaeological remains excavated at the Early Neolithic site of WF16 in southern Jordan. The monograph details the results of a major (3 year) excavation campaign and nearly a decade of post-excavation analyses. The monograph includes 45 chapters, runs to 722 pages and includes c.600 figures and c.200 tables. This represents a major development in the detailed publication of Neolithic archaeology in SW Asia. Complete stratigraphic analyses, contextual descriptions and interpretations are presented for all excavated layers alongside synthetic and specialist chapters on the Neolithic, chronology and dating, chipped stone, sediments, architecture, and burials.
