- Additional information
- This output demonstrated the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem cell-conditioned medium for the treatment of inflammatory arthritis. Support was provided via the Dowager Countess Eleanor Peel Trust (AJT.1064.2.MJA (13/05)) and the Orthopaedic Institute Ltd (133). Follow-on funding was obtained from the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital Charity (G08028), a British Society for Immunology summer placement award, and a Keele University PhD studentship. This work led to subsequent publications (Hyland et al, 2020) and conference presentations (TERMIS World Congress, USA, 2015; 2nd Vinmec International Conference ‘Cell and Gene Therapy’, Vietnam, 2018).
