- The political imaginary of sexual freedom (Palgrave, 2016, 282pp.) is a monograph based on the research findings of a four-year interdisciplinary research project on sexual citizenship and rights in a variety of geo-cultural contexts. The book addresses a series of key debates: on trans* rights, reproductive justice, sex work, and consent among others, and looks at these in public discourses and transnational sexual politics, in both Europe and the Americas. As such, the book is based on extensive archival documentation, and a sustained effort throughout the years to develop a theoretical framework to interpret this complex and multifaceted subject.
