- Hirschi is one of the co-founders of the NuGrid international collaboration (https://nugrid.github.io/) involving 23 institutions across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia and was its PI for several separate years in the past 10 years. With his PhD student, Bennett, Hirschi developed a large part of the MPPNP code used in this study and calculated all the massive star evolution models used in this study with the GENEC code. Furthermore, Hirschi drafted text (e.g. Sections 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.7.1) and created figures (13, 14) related to massive star evolution and nucleosynthesis throughout the paper.
