- This research involves an international collaboration with researchers at Northeastern University in China, supported by six grants including 61225012 and 71325002 from the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars of China. The paper proposes a novel distributed QoS multicast routing protocol for cognitive networks. The evaluation conducted shows the protocol’s advantages over related work. The paper has stimulated considerable further research, e.g. in routing protocol design for cloud, vehicle and satellite related networks (https://www.scopus.com/results/citedbyresults.uri?sort=plf-f&cite=2-s2.0-84894573343&src=s&imp=t&sid=0d3d4d8805ca47d771a5b4d84e35600b&sot=cite&sdt=a&sl=0&origin=inward&editSaveSearch=&txGid=a2c2bcd22f64049eede9bc0c79c5cbc9).
