- This monograph comprising 140,000 words of text and extensive appendices (c 47,500 words) is a major output of the Kinchega Archaeological Research Project directed by Allison since 1998. Allison was responsible for the research design and analyses in this volume, sole authored Chapters 1-3 and 9-10 and led the research, analyses and writing of chapters 4-8, where Esposito's main contributions are identification of vessel names, identifying fabrics and mismatched designs, and researching mail-order catalogues. Researching and writing the monograph occupied around two-thirds of Allison's research time during the REF period.
