- This work represents the first major output from an international research project between LJMU, University of Melbourne (Australia), National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (Pakistan), and Leeds Beckett University (UK). The proposed novel algorithm for Energy-Efficient multiple Cloud Computing service composition (E2C2) aims to create an energy-aware composition plan by integrating the least possible number of services to fulfil user requirements. The paper compares E2C2 with four major competing algorithms, with results demonstrating the superior performance of E2C2. The work has been widely cited in related areas like traffic management and smart grids.
