- The Metaphysics of Quantities is the main output of a five-year research project on the nature and ontological status of physical quantities. This project attracted funding from the Hong Kong Research Grants Council and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. It is the first book-length philosophical treatment of quantities in four decades, engaging measurement theory, philosophy of science, and contemporary metaphysics. The book benefited from feedback at presentations across the world: Lisbon, Lugano, Prague, Hanover, Hong Kong, Zurich, Dubrovnik, San Diego, Tucson, Munich, Oxford, the LSE, Helsinki, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Antwerp and Singapore, and international conference on Wolff organized in Hong Kong.
