- This monograph is the culmination of 5 years engagement with the philosophical foundations of equity law. It offers a theoretical defence of the independence of equity and makes an original argument for the claim that equity is a vital component of the legal system in common law jurisdictions. The book develops a complex set of arguments in law and philosophy and applies them to an under-systematised area of private law.
