- Double-weighted statement
- This book completed a Norwegian Research Council-funded research project which involved a huge amount of primary research including visits to about 100 history museums across Europe, and analysis of their permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as about 65 interviews with curators, policy-makers etc. The book is highly innovative in integrating historical, social sciences, anthropological and cultural studies perspectives which required time-intensive cooperation among the authors for developing the conceptual framework aligning and integrating their analysis into one coherent co-authored book. As the only near-native speaker of English, I also had to do all the editing and language revision work.
