- The proposed architecture is a novel cloud-based model to facilitate sharing of heterogeneous mechactronics hardware resources across several labs over five EU countries. The project also proposed a new platform to enable knowledge sharing among institutes including University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania; University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Italy; University of Ruse, Bulgaria; IFMA, France; Hildebrand, London; ESTA, German. The work has been validated by around 1000 users from all over the world. The work contributed to a later work in cloud and edge computing which led to a publication being shortlisted for best paper award in 2017 IEEE ICEBE 10.1109/ICEBE.2017.17.
