- Double-weighted statement
- ‘Consciousness and Fundamental Reality’ is a sizeable monograph (273 pages), comprising two distinct halves. The first half deals with the case against physicalism; the second half deals with Russellian monism and panpsychism. Each half contains both a detailed account of cutting-edge work on the topic and novel arguments for distinctive positions. Given the vast amount of detail in each half and the fact that they are on different (albeit related) topics, it is clear that the book contains at least the content of two lengthy journal articles, and hence should be double-weighted.
