- Additional information
- This piece of research is a result of a commission from Tate to produce an in-depth examination of a single artwork in their collection, as part of a series the museum calls ‘In Focus’, to be presented on their website. At a length of 22,140 words, it is substantially longer than a regular journal article. Its presentation is divided into five chapters, one of which is an interview between John Smith and Patrick Wright, arranged by Balsom. The text was subject to blind peer review.
