- Compared to other contributions, relying on CAD optimisation, this paper provides a simplified technique to initiate the design of Doherty PAs thus improving the products time-to-market. It led to an invited talk (“Broadband Doherty design: design approach and examples”) at the European Microwave Conference, September 2018: workshop "Broadband PA for Wireless Applications". It sparked the idea of combining Cardiff model and broadband Doherty design that led to the MSCA IF grant 793529 (£140k).
